The leading edge of an area of rain extended from near Westfield to Oconomowoc to Lake Geneva...and then continued southeast into the Chicago area. The rain was spreading to the north at 25 mph and will spread into the Kenosha...Milwaukee...Waukesha... Juneau and West Bend areas between 530 AM cst and 7 AM cst. Farther west...the rain will continue through sunrise in the Madison...Janesville...Baraboo...Mineral Point and Monroe areas. The rain will gradually taper off to drizzle in these areas...mainly after 8 AM cst. Additional rainfall of one tenth to three tenths of an inch is expected this morning. The rain and lingering fog will reduce the visibility to between one half mile and one mile at times...so drive with caution this morning.
